Body cords may only be used for fencing under the rules of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) or the respective national fencing federation.

The body cord is designed exclusively for transmitting electrical signals from a fencing weapon to a fencing scoring device and must not be connected to any other devices or external power sources!

Check the body cord and its connectors for damage or wear before use. Damaged cables must not be used further.

Use the body cord only with designated fencing weapons and connection devices. Avoid improper handling that could lead to electric shocks or other electrical hazards.

Repairs must only be carried out by trained personnel!

Keep packaging materials and small parts that may come with the cord out of the reach of small children.

Use proper winding techniques to avoid cable breakage. A common method is the "cable loop." Avoid tight coils. Use Velcro straps to secure the wound cable.
