Uhlmann French grip

Grips for fencing weapons (foil, epee, sabre) may only be used for the practice of fencing according to the rules of the International Fencing Federation (FIE) or the respective national fencing federation.

Use by minors: The use of grips as part of fencing weapons by minors must be strictly supervised by a fencing master (coach).

The grip must be securely attached to the fencing weapon and must not be loose or wobbly.

Before each use, the grip should be checked for damage, cracks, or loose fittings. Damaged grips must not be reused.

Grips as part of a fencing weapon may only be used in conjunction with complete protective equipment (according to DIN/EN 13567 in the latest version) to minimize the risk of injury.

Repairs or replacement of parts, such as blades, guards, grips, etc., of fencing weapons (foil, epee, and sabre) may only be carried out by qualified personnel.
