Uhlmann insulating tubing for wire, 5m

The insulating sleeve is used to insualate the wire that has been inserted into the tip wire of the blade in the upper section of the fencing weapon above the thread. Any other or improper use is not permitted. 

Before use, it must be ensured that the insulating sleeve is free from cracks, damage, or signs of material fatigue. 

The sleeve must not be pulled over sharp edges or damaged by mechanical impact, as this may impair its insulating function. 

Use the insulating sleeve only in combination with suitable and approved tools for stripping the wire to avoid injury or damage. 

Ensure that no electrical contact remain exposed when mounting it on the fencing weapon. 

The sleeve must not be exposed to excessive heat, as the material may deform, impairing its insulating function and potentially damaging the sleeve. 

If any visible deformation, discoloration, or brittleness is present, the insulating sleeve must be replaced immediately. 

Children must not install or use the insulating sleeve. 

Improper installation may lead to malfunctions of the fencing weapon and increase the risk of injury. 

Only dry or slightly damp, lint-free cloths may be used to clean the insulating sleeve. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, solvents, or sharp objects. 

The sleeve should be regularly checked for dirt, damage, or material fatigue. If any visible defects are found, it must be replaced immediately. 

Store the insulating sleeve in a dry, clean and dust-fee environment at room temperature. Avoid direct sunlight, excessive heat or cold and mechanical stress during storage. 

The insulating sleeve must not be reused if it is already deformed, damaged, or brittle. 

Dispose of the insulating sleeve in accordance with local regulations for plastic or electronic waste. Environmentally responsible disposal must be ensured.
